TeleportDoor. Sounds kinda pretty. Like CellarDoor. But, our Door leads you to places far beyond your mother’s basement.

NEW BERLIN (a.k.a. Anthony Mauzy) is Teleportdoor’s Co-Founder.  Based out of Sliverlake, this DJ/media mogul is like Claw from Inspector Gadget. He’s got his finger on the button, his mind on his money and his money and his mind.  Also he’s the Owner of the Sidian Agency – one of L.A.’s hottest creative design shops — as well as a successful deejay and event promoter.

Anthony earned his multi-media creds in Austin, where he began promoting his own local experimental electronic shows under the guise . . . Teleportdoor. These shows quickly evolved into conceptual events for clients like Austin City Limits (ACL) and South by South West (SXSW).

In his spare time, Anthony still deejays under the name New Berlin — a nod to the current wave of ex-patriot artists and deejays who reside in Anthony’s second favorite city: Berlin —  Los Angeles being his first favorite city and the Teleportdoor being his preferred mode of transportation between the two.

DEADSTARLET (a.k.a. Shanon Ingles) is not really dead, she just blogs that way. As Teleportdoor’s Managing Editor, Co-Founder and H.S.I.C. (Head Scribe in Charge), Shanon brings over ten years of award-winning writing, editing and visual art experience to this sick little blog.

Before she walked through the Teleportdoor and found herself in Los Angeles, Shanon  got her degree in RockStar from New College of Florida. She also spent a spell in Austin, TX where she ate lotus flowers and practiced the sacred art of screenwrting. Some of Shanon’s honors include  two James A. Michener Fellowships for writing and was offered a Rita & Burton Goldberg Fellowship to pursue a M.F.A. at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2006.

When Deadstarlet’s not scouring L.A.’s glittering Gotham to find something for you to do, she works in the video game industry, pens screenplays and collects the souls of mad scientists.
